Job Description Summary
The Town of Southern Pines is searching for a Facility Maintenance Tech, who will receive general direction from the Facilities Superintendent. The Town of Southern Pines is experiencing unprecedented growth and takes pride in the facilities it offers to the community. We are looking for a candidate who will have gratification in sustaining the high-level standards we maintain in our facilities that make our town a great place for all community members. The ideal candidate will perform a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks with the objective of maintaining, repairing and cleaning of the Towns buildings, shelters, dugouts, fences, pool, splash pad, and bathroom structures for the safe and appealing enjoyment for the community. The Facility Maintenance Tech coordinates and supervises assigned activities and projects with other departments, divisions, and contractors related to facility maintenance.
Due to Police Station access, successful applicants must pass a comprehensive criminal background check investigation and a pre-employment drug test.
