PDS Tech, Inc. is seeking a Fabricator, in Orlando, FL.

Job Description:

• This position requires working from approved engineering drawings, mechanical blueprints, quality inspection procedures, military specifications, manufacturing process plans and other written instructions.
• Daily tasks include operations such as, but not limited to: masking, chem film line operation, hoist operation, and rework. Requires the cleaning and chemical conversion of parts or assemblies and performing other basic immersion processes.
• Checks surface conditions prior to chemical conversion for cleanliness and masking.
• May involve responsibility for oven temperatures, time controls and coating consistency.
• Must maintain logs, records, and complete required paperwork.
• Monitors and performs required adjustments to ensure acceptable hardware is produced.
• Operates sandblaster or tumble blast equipment for removal of scale, flux, corrosion and dirt from material or parts.

• Candidate must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
• Ability to work with carbon fiber material in the fabrication of composite structures and/or the ability to apply finish protective coatings, spray guns and/or brushes, optical bonding fabrication, bonding.
• Able to operate sandblaster or tumble blast equipment.

• Technical school training.
• Prior experience as fabricator on composite material.
• Experience as a composite assembler.
• Strong math skills.
