POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides management support one-on-one. They serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Office of the CEO. The Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to senior management teams; organizes and coordinates executive outreach and external relations efforts; and oversees special projects.

· Manages a variety of special projects for the CEO, communicating with executives to keep the project aligned with their goals, identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects
· Optimizes and improves processes and the methodology where necessary.
· Plans, coordinates and ensures the CEO's schedule is followed and respected. Establishes "gatekeeper" role, facilitating opportunities for direct access to the CEO time and office.
· Works closely and effectively with the CEO to keeping them well informed of upcoming commitments and responsibilities, following up appropriately.
· Researches, prioritizes, and follows up on incoming issues and concerns addressed to the CEO, including those of a sensitive or confidential nature. Determines appropriate escalation.
· Provides a bridge for efficient communication between the CEO’s office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust, and support with senior management.
· In lockstep with the Leadership Team (LT), completes first draft of presentation decks for CEO, CMO, and LT for Franchise Advisory Board Meetings
· Coordinates the agenda of leadership, board and team meetings and off-sites, including National Franchise Convention
· Completes a broad variety of administrative tasks for the CEO including managing an active calendar of appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed itineraries and agendas; and compiling documents for travel-related meetings.
Senior Leadership Liaison
· Participates as an adjunct member of the Leadership and Executive Team including scheduling meetings, setting agendas, attending all meetings, and producing meeting minutes.
· Facilitates cross-divisional coordination of travel and outreach plans.
Communications, Partnerships, and Outreach
· Maintains the CEO and CMO bios, updating as necessary and responds to requests for materials regarding the CEO/CMO and the organization in general.
· Edits and completes first drafts for written communications to internal and external stake holders.
· Works with the Strategic Initiatives team in coordinating the President's outreach activities.
· Follows up on contacts made by the CEO/CMO and supports the cultivation of ongoing relationships.

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: Minimal requirements.
· Bachelor’s degree required.
· 3-5 years’ experience in a professional or corporate setting, preferably in a restaurant/QSR environment.
· Project management experience desired.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point), and social media platforms.
· Expert level written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Adept at building relationships with internal/external clients and stakeholders
