This position is for someone who is construction and mechanical-minded. Someone who loves to know how things work and who wants to learn the landscape industry from a top-quality, 50-year-old company. This position will learn from sales, design, estimating, and project management. The team members in these departments have been with The Pattie Group, Inc. for decades and know the business and industry inside out. This is a great opportunity for the right candidate. • Experienced with computer and basic programs such as Microsoft Office (AutoCad, Google Sketchup & FileMaker database experience a major plus)
• Fast-paced and able to act quickly
• Effective at multi-tasking

Type of work to include:

• Research of products, trends & new contractors
• Estimating landscape projects
• Filing for and picking up city permits
• Coordinating subcontractors
• Pricing and ordering supplies
• Assisting with project management

To be considered for this position, the candidate must:

• Pass a pre-employment background & driving record check
• Pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Have reliable transportation
• Be authorized to work in the US
