Each year, we aggregate thousands of data points on our quality, safety, and environmental (QSE) performance from facilities across our global system. This data is critical to understand and report progress against our QSE performance indicators and our sustainability goals. To enable data driven improvement process for our sustainability & QSE metrics, we are seeking a Sustainability Strategy Manager to play a key role in leveraging the digital transformation tools and processes for data collection, governance, data analysis and reporting. The objective is to leverage timely and accurate data to drive QSE business objectives and make the process of external reporting robust and transparent, and continuously improve on our QSE performance and metrics.

The position will report to the Global Director, Sustainability and Digital Transformation and be part of the Corporate QSE organization. The role will require continuous connection and collaboration with all our Operating Units (OUs), bottling system, various corporate functions like Platform Services (IT), QSE, Public Affairs Communication and Sustainability (PACS) & company partners.

What You’ll Do

  • Work with cross functional team members to define and deliver the digital transformation strategy for the Quality, Safety and Environment (QSE) function

  • Anchor the process of collating digitization needs of the QSE function and working with Platform Services (IT Function) to develop business relevant solutions to drive data connectivity, data visualization and data analytics

  • Drive and ensure implementation of best-in-class processes for data management and governance (including but not limited to data collection, data analysis using analytics / advance analytics on key QSE and sustainability metrics) to drive QSE and sustainability commitments of the company

  • Establish a robust data governance process on all QSE data coming from the field (bottling systems and operating units). The job position will enable and support the data assurance process of key sustainability & QSE metrics for various external reporting commitments of the company, including the upcoming requirements of Securities Exchange Commission of US (SEC) and European Union Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The job position will satisfactorily address all queries received from assurance partners on submitted data. Some of the key external reports for The Coca-Cola Company are Business & Sustainability Report; Climate Disclosure Project reports for Water, Climate and Forest; Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) etc.

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end master data processes; implements master data management solutions; ensures data quality governance for master data and drives process improvements in relation to master data processes

  • Work with cross functional teams, support the development and the rollout of digital solutions/platforms (example Enablon) across the bottling system and operating units to capture key QSE metrics, which are critical to drive progress against our commitments and for external reporting

  • Enhance the capability of the system (bottling system and operating units) on leveraging the digital platforms (example Enablon etc) for data analysis and insights. The job position will periodically deliver customized system trainings sessions to address specific needs of skill development of system users

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in translating business requirement into IT requirements and getting development work delivered through IT teams.

  • Ability to translate complex data into business insights.

  • Experience with visualization software (Power BI, Tableau etc)

  • Experience with Office 365 apps, SharePoint, Alteryx, Environment & Sustainability Platforms (e.g., Enablon, etc), Platform for Master Specifications etc.

  • Proven experience in handling Master Data Management, Data Governance, and data mining.

  • Experience in getting developed an integrated dashboard for multiple metrics along with data analytics capability

  • Understanding of the key business metrics (preferably sustainability & QSE) and their importance in external reporting

  • Demonstrated success in effectively communicating at all levels of an organization

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Statistics or any other related field

  • Experience in Machine Learning/Artificial Intelligence for advanced analytics

  • Few years of experience in a business function (Supply Chain, Quality Safety & Environment, Sustainability etc)

  • Data Warehouse/Big Data Management Principles
