Engineering Technician/Inspector
In-Office Position
Hours: 8am - 4:45pm
Job Summary:
The Engineering Technician / Product Inspector is responsible for performing product inspections, to assist with product maintenance tasks and for handling or assistance in other engineering tasks as needed.
Essential Functions:
- Perform product inspections for first article receipts, for product quality issues, in support of sales, operations or other product maintenance tasks.
- Provide assistance to engineers, as needed, in their development of designs, drawings, specifications, bill of materials, and other product development activities.
- Utilize engineering and inventory databases and other records or files.
- Provide product technical assistance to machined seal operators.
- Provide technical assistance to customers, other departments or company branches.
Entry Level Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Basic understanding of Hercules seal and component products or equivalent knowledge.
- Experience creating or reading engineering drawings.
- Familiarity with PCs, word processing, and spreadsheets.
- Good organization skills and able to carry out assignments with moderate supervision.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work as a team member.
