Position Summary: The Project Manager will serve as a Project lead for RGBSI A&D across various programs requiring product design and development knowledge. Their knowledge and expertise will be widely applied across RGBSI A&D's broad client base from various industry domains such as Aerospace, Automotive, other Defense sectors. They will provide thought leadership around new technologies and methodologies while working with RGBSI A&D clients in defining future state for their Industry 4.0, Smart/Connected Factory, Digital Engineering and Manufacturing strategies.

A key member of the RGBSI Aerospace & Defense Customer Engagement team, the Project Manager is responsible for executing against key milestone and deliverable timelines. This role requires client facing interaction with project teams in meeting aggressive timelines and delivering effective client solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Industry 4.0 & IIOT projects using sound project management process and principles
  • Articulate I4.0 business and technical needs and help clients address their pain points around smart factory and manufacturing transformation.
  • Develops predictive maintenance system using IIOT technologies
  • Works with the IT team, IIOT suppliers and plant teams to implement upgrades and ensure alignment with the future vision for manufacturing
  • Responsible to identify and manage all aspects of organizational change required to successfully implement the identified opportunities
  • Formulate implementation plans for improved business process understanding how and opportunities for improvement.
  • Provides technical direction for problem definition, analysis, requirements development and implementation for complex systems / projects
  • Required to manage the project to meet Cost, Schedule and Delivery targets
  • Prepare, lead, and facilitate the interviews/workshops with the stakeholders and subject matter experts associated with the project implementation, change management and other process improvement opportunities.
  • Prior or current Mechanical or Aero design experience, or current aerospace manufacturing experience
  • Support active feedback between customer learnings and the RGBSI A&D team to drive improvements
  • Demonstrated strong time management and project management skills
  • Partners effectively with RGBSIA&D project and program management and technical team, and customer to deliver according to agreed plans and schedules
  • Ability to recognize potential risk areas and implement mitigation plans for issues affecting plans and scheduled
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of issues and to initiate actions
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and project requirements effectively
  • Works with end user groups to evaluate and solve technical problems
  • Evaluates existing systems and/or user needs to analyze, design, recommend, and implement system changes

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree (preferrably in Engineering)
  • Experience in Manufacturing
  • 2+ years Project Management
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
  • Hands on experience with Project Management and ability to manage Cost, Schedule and Delivery targets for large scale manufacturing projects
  • Skills to communicate complex ideas effectively and work with business and technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal communications, interpersonal, and influence skills

Desired Qualifications:

  • LEAN, Six Sigma, and/or other process certification preferred
  • PMP or equivalents (CMMI, SCRUM, Agile) preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
