Hogan Lovells is seeking a highly qualified senior associate (Class of 2017+) to join its vibrant and collaborative Executive Compensation & Employee Benefits Practice Group in either its Washington, DC or New York City offices, although other US offices of the firm also are possibilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design and implementation of executive incentive plans and agreements and employment, separation and change in control agreements, as well as advising companies on the related disclosure obligations. The candidate also will counsel clients on executive compensation matters in the context of mergers and acquisitions, financings, and other corporate transactions. Must have a solid background in Code Sections 280G and 409A as well as experience drafting CD&As and compensation-related proxy proposals.
Alternative work arrangements are available for this position, including a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The annualized salary range for this position is $345,000 to $415,000, depending on the candidate’s overall experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position may be eligible for a discretionary or an hours-based bonus. In addition, full-time employees as well as some part-time employees will be eligible for the firm’s fringe benefits as they currently exist.
