FULL-TIME – MONDAY – FRIDAY – DAYS – WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS: AS NEEDED
Assists and communicates with all Broward Health hospitals and interacts with external healthcare institutions for emergency management planning purposes. Plans, evaluates, updates, coordinates and oversees all activities related to planning, response and recovery for the Broward Health Emergency Management needs. Works with each hospitals’ health care disciplines to formulate, test and evaluate the Health and Medical Response to all hazards.
- Bachelor’s degree obtained through an accredited program. Master’s degree preferred
- Two years of related experience
- Professional Licensure with the State of Florida preferred. Paramedic/EMT/Fire Rescue Certification accepted if no professional licensure. Emergency Management Certification preferred
- BLS, ACLS, PALS preferred
