Basic Details:
- Full Time - Hourly
- 2nd Shift, 1pm - 9pm (Monday - Friday)
- Pay: Starting at $25 per hour, based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician is primarily responsible for working closely with Production Department to improve setups, process, and productivity. The Electromechanical Maintenance Technician will do so by completing the below mentioned functions of the position.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Completes maintenance projects as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and / or Manager
- Perform emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform maintenance
- Diagnose problems, replace, or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments
- Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment
- Respond to down machines as directed by Maintenance Lead to maximize production output
- Change and adjust cutoff knives
- Install and setup punches
- Assist perators with process related issue troubleshooting and machine adjustments
- Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed
- Compliance with all company Quality Systems, Operational and Human Resource policies, procedures, and practices, including safety, food safety and housekeeping procedures
Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Electromechanical Maintenance and/or related program preferred
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in Maintenance preferred
- 2 - 3 years in manufacturing environment preferred
