ARM CAMCO LLC is seeking to hire an Electrical Technician who will test, troubleshoot, clean, and recondition mechanical and electrical system components such as breakers, transformers, relays, and switchgear in low/medium/high voltage distribution systems both in a shop environment and in the field. The successful candidate will have the ability to read electrical system design plans and recommend improvements, as well as test, calibrate instruments, and diagnose faulty equipment.

What You’ll Do:
- Evaluate, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, and apparatus.
- Disassemble/reassemble mechanical and electrical components utilizing a variety of references to include drawings, schematics, pictures, and sketches.
- Constructing and fabricating parts, using hand/power tools and specifications.
- Reading and interpreting electrical and electronic circuit drawings, diagrams, and schematics.
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and/or equipment; communicate and repair the identified hazards and/or defects.
- Follow all applicable company and customer site safety procedures while wearing appropriate PPE to ensure the safe completion of all required tasks.
- Operate test equipment in an efficient and safe manner.
- Follow ISO 9001 standard procedures to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and comprehend user manuals and instructions and effectively apply to work. practices, assuming full responsibility for all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Effectively communicate with internal team members, external partners and clients to ensure client needs are met.
What We Are Looking For:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Proficient with hand and power tools.
- Comfortable working electrical circuits in an industrial setting, near mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Comfortable working in a variety of environmental and safety conditions (heat, cold, electrical, etc.) and ability to safely perform the physical requirements necessary.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol exam – pre-employment and random.
- Ability to travel, including overnight.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
- Prior experience in the field.
- Associates Degree or higher in a related field.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and testing equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
