We have an immediate opening for a Child Development Specialist to work in our Early Support Services program based in Salem NH. Our children’s support services provides therapeutic services to children age’s birth to 3 years of age .The person in this key position will work as a member of our Early Intervention and Pediatric Outpatient team assessing and treating young children.

Qualifications: To comply with state regulations, this position has strict requirements that include one of the following:
- NH Department of Education certification as Early Childhood Educator
- Early Childhood Special Educator, Special Education Teacher in the area of blind and vision disabilities
- Special Education Teacher in the area of deaf and hearing disabilities
- Special Education Teacher in the area of emotional and behavioral disabilities
- Special Education Teacher in the area of intellectual and developmental disabilities
- Special Education Teacher in the area of physical and health disabilities
- Special Education Teacher in area of specific learning disabilities or BDS certification as an Early intervention specialist
- Work with the family, staff and other service providers to provide quality community supports and services for young children and their families
- Participate in team evaluations
- Developing IFSP's
- Plan and implement developmental activities
- Function as a service coordinator for assigned children and families
