E-commerce Manager

We are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to support our brands across various e-commerce sites and platforms. The Ecommerce Manager will manage the day-to-day operations of all client facing sites including launching new product & marketing campaigns, implementing new features, assisting with QA, identifying and documenting issues, and building/analyzing e-commerce reports. This role will support the greater e-commerce strategy by executing on various product roadmaps, identifying new opportunities, and implementing KPI driven processes to enable data driven decision making.
Site & Product Management
- Reporting to the Director of E-commerce, manage the day-to-day operations of all client facing websites & backend platforms for including starkcarpet.com, starkcarpet.co.uk, prestigemills.com, starkstudiorugs.com, ashleystarkhome.com, and addoracarpet.com.
- Support the organization, development, and execution of all e-commerce roadmaps - own the product management / feature development process: develop feature-based epics, stories, & define all story specifications that maximize value. Own & maintain the product backlogs including intake process.
- Identify & present areas of opportunity within all areas of e-commerce including front end/client experience, back-end platform, IT integrations, customer service and e-commerce operations.
- Identify, implement, test & maintain third party applications that align with business objectives.
- Develop, document, and implement new processes to improve efficiency of site management.
- Support any platform/site/feature needs for SEO/search.
- Utilize site analytics to understand overall health of the sites and lead changes as appropriate to meet site KPIs.
- Participate in working sessions with marketing, merchandising, and other teams to ensure proper launch of new products & marketing campaigns, outlining site requirements or limitations.
- Partner with Marketing team to QA campaigns: emails, discount codes, landing pages, etc.
- Launch new content onsite in coordination with Merchandising and Marketing initiatives.
- Ensure sites and all features are optimized across mobile and desktop.
- Partner closely with any external agency to ensure they are delivering on time, on budget and meeting/exceeding deliverable quality.
E-commerce Analytics & Reporting
- Be the go-to associate for website and digital marketing analytics & reporting – providing the team with actionable insights on all e-commerce behavior and marketing campaigns.
- Manage, maintain, and remedy issues in analytics environments and reports in Google Analytics, Shopify, Magento, and other systems as needed.
- Manage data requests and behavioral web analytics of AshleyStarkHome.com and StarkCarpet.com to deliver actionable insights, identify gaps in tracking and make recommendations for optimization.
- Work closely with Director of E-Commerce, merchandise team, digital marketing channel team to define the key task, success, CTA, and measurement KPI for all campaigns - social, email, search marketing, website, etc.
- Execute on all site tagging in order to track all ecommerce behavior and marketing activity effectively.
- Use analytics to advise on site enhancements and roadmap initiatives. Evaluate industry, competitors, market, and technology trends as inputs into the roadmap.
Ecommerce Order Management & Operations
- Maintain the ecommerce order management workflow by ensuring proper integrations (order, product, inventory, etc) with backend systems. Support testing efforts as needed to ensure stability of all sites.
- Build an understanding of our backend systems to identify issues and partner with IT to address.
- Validate inventory and product data sync process between ecommerce sites and ERP.
- Review orders in ERP for accuracy and partner with Customer Service and fulfillment to ensure SLA’s are being met.
- Partner with Warehouse/logistics teams to ensure outbound tracking and returns are being captured properly by our e-commerce sites.

- You have a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects: work prioritization, planning, task delegation and hitting deadlines
- You have skills in tracking and reporting on product launch metrics, utilizing feedback to drive associated actions and product iteration.
Experience:
- 3+ years of ecommerce manager OR digital product management experience.
- 2+ years of digital analytics measurement experience.
- Experience with Shopify Plus required.
- Experience with Magento preferred.
- Experience with JIRA/Confluence or other agile tools.
- Proficient in web analytics, reporting and analyzing trends (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager)
- Familiarity with Hubspot for Email, CRM, Analytics and Loyalty tools
- Strong retail / DTC background preferred.
- Design/home organization familiarity a plus.
- Proven experience creating product roadmaps, writing user stories, and evaluating technical solutions to business problems.
- Knowledge in building reports in Excel.
- Demonstrable knowledge of UX best practices and implementations with ability to implement user-centric design and data-informed decision making.
- Proven ability to collaborate with external partners, work across disciplines, influence peers and senior leaders, while advocating for the best customer experience.
- Experience building and launching products in a highly matrixed organization.
- Outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and integrity.
