REGISTER WITH THE FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION (FMCSA) CLEARINGHOUSE
Registering with the FMCSA Clearinghouse is a requirement of the U.S. Department of Transportation. All drivers are required to visit the Clearinghouse website and register with the new database. The Clearinghouse is a secure online database that provides real-time information about commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders’ drug- and alcohol-program violations. If you have not registered with the FMCSA database, please note that registration is required.

- Safely operates a tractor trailer truck that transports frozen, cooler and dry cargo to and from various DC and hub locations.
- Prepares, receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery of products.
- Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to Federal and State DOT and Motor Carrier regulations.
- Must be able to utilize and understand an on-board computer system (ie PeopleNet).
- Maintains contact with the Operations department to effectively and professionally communicate any problems or delays.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle.
- Responsible for reporting any vehicle maintenance or malfunction issues.
- CDL Class A License Required
- Must have a valid DOT Medical examination card
- Must have a clean motor vehicle record (MVR) in accordance with DCP guidelines for hiring.
- Must have a minimum of 6 months experience with a Class A license, 1 year preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong oral and written communications skills
- PC Literate
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills
- Decision Making Skills
- Flexible to varying work schedules
- On Board Computer System Experience (People Net preferred)
