Driver/Retail Associate Job at S. Clyde Weaver
We have a retail position available which includes transporting our product roundtrip from our East Petersburg, PA location to our various market locations. Once you arrive at the market you will assist with setup, work as a retail sales associate, assist with tear down and travel back to Lancaster. Four to five days a week, no Sundays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Load and unload refrigerated van or truck
- Assist Market Manager with setting up market display cases
- Greet and assist customers in an engaging and professional manner
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of all available products
- Differentiate between products, helping customers compare and contrast flavors, textures, parings, etc.
- Answer all customer questions and address concerns
- Make helpful suggestions that will be useful to the customer
- Handle all transactions with accuracy
- Make every effort to ensure the customer has an excellent shopping experience
- Train/operate food service equipment (slicer, chipper, etc.)
Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be over age 21
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-2 years of retail experience desired
- Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and friendly attitude
- Reliable and punctual
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
