DRIVER HELPER Job at Delco Foods
Job Summary: Assist in the safe and timely unloading and delivery of products and materials to customers, providing courteous, prompt and professional customer service.
Essential Job Functions:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Assist the driver to deliver the company’s product in a professional manner
- Unload product off truck or trailer at all customer locations.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the truck, that it is workable, neat and the load is secure at all times.
- Sweep pallets and empty/clean trailer and cab at the end of day.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Required to lift 70 or more pounds.
- Must be able to frequently walk up/down stairs.
- Loading / Unloading
- Inventory
- Reliable & dependable
- Must adhere to all safety guidelines and policies set forth by the company.
- May include overnight deliveries.
- May be exposed to varying temperatures and seasonal climate conditions due to exposure, external of tractor-trailer.
