Requirements:

• Reliable and hard working, with a desire to work in a professional, positive, fast-paced, team-based environment.
• Willing and able to work weekends, holidays, and during inclement weather.
• Ability to stand for several hours at a time and to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Though not required, preference will be given to those who have professional experience with animals especially in a pet care role as a veterinary assistant or kennel technician and/or supervisory experience of teammates in a retail or service industry.

Salary and Benefits:

• Starting pay $18.00 per hour. Additional compensation based on education and experience

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising dog daycare playgroups, providing a safe and fun environment for all dogs.
• Forging individual relationships with dogs to better understand their personalities, behavior, and the play groups in which they’d best be happy and successful.
• Enthusiastic commitment to initial and ongoing learning and training, through which you will gain an understanding of dogs, how they learn and perceive their environment, how to utilize positive reinforcement, and how to engage them in enriching play.
• Cleaning up after dogs, maintaining a clean and professional atmosphere.
