Position : Dishwasher

Wage: $15.00 per hour, plus monthly monetary performance bonus

Schedule: FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE * weekend availability is essential*

Position Details: The right person for this job can multi-task, takes pride in being a team player, keeps assigned areas clean and ready for service. The responsibilities will consist dish washing, pot washing, garbage removal, floor cleaning, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Follow established procedures as they pertain to receiving and storage of food
• Follow the posted Schedule
• Follow all recipes exactly, to stay consistent with the food cost metric as established by the management company
• Handle all china, glassware, silverware and small wares with care and avoid any soiling and damage
• Properly clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment to maintain its integrity and appearance
• Follow cleaning and productivity guidelines outlined on daily and weekly cleaning checklists
• Properly clean all screens and seals of the dish machine; and change water as needed and prior to ending your shift
• Communicate needs to the chef as they pertain to equipment function, supplies, and training
• Follow established processes for submitting maintenance requests
• Maintain a professional attitude with guests and co-workers in a friendly and service oriented manner
• Operate with a sense of urgency and discipline when performing duties to ensure that other team members have what they need when the guest needs it.
• Follow established processes to ensure that we deliver superior customer service and quality everyday; resulting in Overall Service scores for Breakfast, Dinner, Bar/Lounge, and Room Service
• Always clean all small wares, glassware, silverware, and flatware to the highest of cleanliness standards, which will help us deliver superior customer service and quality every day
• Stay aware of scores to review feedback, identify gaps and implement solutions to improve performance
• Stay aware of scores to review feedback and identify areas where we are doing well so that we can recognize excellence and celebrate success
• Assist in the food preparation as needed and directed by the chef
• Greet every guest you encounter with a welcoming smile and greeting
• Always be in uniform, wearing your name tag and a smile
• Work in a sanitary and organized manner which complies with state and local health department regulations
• Ensure a safe, clean and positive work environment is kept at all times
• Take trash and recyclables out to designated areas and keep receptacles clean to maintain a pest free environment
• Report any safety or mechanical issues to supervisor or management immediately
• Look out for the hotel' s interest at all times; ensuring that hotel services are used by registered guests only, and reporting suspicious activity
• Participate when opportunities arise to volunteer on community projects that our company supports as we invest resources in the communities we serve
• When appropriate, promote the hotel’s Food and Beverage and Catering Outlets.
• Maintain a close working relationship with other associates to ensure that communication lines stay open to best serve our guests
• Listen to and act on your manager’s feedback regarding your performance; ask relevant questions and seek training opportunities as needed.
• Participate in our Employee of the Quarter and Year processes where we recognize excellence and celebrate success
• Provide nominees for Roedel Companies Values in Action Award
• You will be responsible for maintaining your timecard by property punching in at the start of your shift, out & in for lunch and out at completion of shift

Requirements:

• Capable of working in a fast-paced work environment.

• Stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, kneel and crouch, regularly lift 30 pounds.

• Availability to work varied shifts, according to the needs of the hotel. This includes weekends, evenings and holidays.

• Must be able to speak fluent English and communicate with guest and fellow co-workers

• Ability to understand and speak in English.
