Director - Plumbing, Mechanical and Gas Resources Job at Brighton Solutions, Inc.
Brighton Solutions is conduction a search for Director's of Plumbing, Mechanical and Gas codes, i-codes and related services. In this outwardly facing role, the Director will have varied responsibilities, including:
Ø Advocating and promoting activities and company services
Ø You will be able to offer subject matter expertise in Plumbing, Mechanical or Gas matters to the Government Relations, Technical Staff members and potential clients for the organization
Ø Developing briefing papers, guiding documents, talking points
Ø Reviewing and interpreting technical materials
Ø Representing the organization in state coalitions, task forces, committees, and councils where expertise in PMG subjects is preferred
Ø Developing and assisting the Government Relations field managers with written and oral testimony to support adoption of the PMG codes
Ø Testifying at public hearings
Ø Presenting and/or training on the technical subject matter
Ø Representing the organization at member meetings, conferences and trade shows as assigned
This position benefits from an individual that can demonstrate key Essential Skills along with commensurate Education and Experience:
Ø Ability to Travel up to 50%, typically in the North Central region of the US
Ø At least 2 years of experience in policy or advocacy related fields preferred
Ø Mechanical Engineering or related Degree or equivalent technical training (such as Master Plumber certification) and experience required
This position offers excellent compensation and benefits. The position can be performed remotely for the most part and can be based anywhere within the service region.
