As the full-time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Director of Rehabilitation at Edgerton Hospital and Health Services, you will manage and direct the activities of the Department of Rehabilitation as well as provides therapy services within your rehabilitation specialty. Key responsibilities include the following:
- Provide daily management and oversight of Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies, both inpatient and outpatient services
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and patient outcomes
- Participate in marketing and community events to develop relationships and visibility to the organization’s brand
- Supervise and/or perform therapy treatments using safe and proper techniques and industry-leading equipment Implement and ensure consistent policies and procedures
- Ensure proper patient billing, keeping current with insurance and Medicare rules/regulations
- Perform daily documentation, certification, and quality assurance
- Establish budget and monitor utilization of staff according to patient load
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and assigning work of employees
- Responsible for maintenance of departmental equipment and utilization of supplies Provide training, coaching, and counseling to employees
- Provide performance reviews for employees
- Direct departmental participation in various hospital committees to ensure appropriate representation
- Consult with and provide information and guidance to various Medical, Nursing, and other Health Care Professionals concerning services and appropriate use
- Develop, organize, and conduct an ongoing public relations program with the nursing and medical staff to build goodwill
- Ensure that the goals of the hospital administration are understood, and priorities are developed to meet the goals
- Maintain confidentiality of privileged information
Schedule: This full-time, exempt position will work at least 40 hours per week, primarily Monday-Friday, from 8:00 am-5:00 pm, on-call and on weekends as needed per patient need.
About the Facility: Edgerton Hospital and Health Services is a non-profit, 16-bed facility that offers a range of services - from emergency care to diagnostic imaging, rehabilitation, and surgery. Edgerton Hospital and Health Services serves people of all ages in Edgerton, Milton, Janesville, and the surrounding communities. Edgerton Hospital has been the center of the community’s health care since 1920 and continues to grow and evolve in response to changing medical needs. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this Rehabilitation Department. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Rehabilitation Department: The hours of operation for the rehabilitation department are from 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited College or School of Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), or Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree; PT or OT preferred
- A Wisconsin licensed Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Language Pathologist in good standing
- 1+ years of rehabilitation management experience required
- Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred
- Experience with swing beds in an acute setting preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred
Hospital Requirements:
- (PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months
- (MMR) Measles, Mumps, and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity
- Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving
- Hep B3 Series (or declination)
- (Flu) Influenza-required is for hire between October 1st - April 30th
- COVID full vaccination
