As Director of Recruiting at Fastaff, you'll lead, develop, manage, and motivate an ambitious high-performing team of recruiters to success.

What you'll do:

Develop recruiting methods and strategies that will result in achieving fill ratio and budgeted FTE goals.

Ensure the right combination of high performing, engaged recruiters are on the team.

Proactively address variances from goals and develop performance improvement plans when necessary.

Maintain a comprehensive understanding and set of solutions for hospital nurse recruiting needs in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales team.

Provide mentoring, training, and coaching to Recruiters to enhance their recruiting abilities and improve recruiting placement outcomes.

Develop, communicate, and hold team accountable to daily, weekly, and monthly individual metrics, objectives, and goals.

Work with sales team and hospital customers during sales process to bring in new opportunities, understand specific requirements, collaboratively develop solutions, and manage fulfillment process.

Lead and present in department meetings when necessary.

Review team members nurse databases to ensure proper contact and maintenance. Monitor team members’ database size and activity to ensure maximum submittals and assignments.

Monitor and review team member calls to ensure communication quality levels are maintained.

Lead the dissemination of nurse pay rates, bonuses, agreement information, and other pertinent material to team members to meet company gross margin goals.

Manage and address nurse issues and concerns in a proactive, professional, and productive manner. Engage Human Resources, or Payroll, when necessary, in the process to ensure a consistent and appropriate solution.

Manages the talent lifecycle for assigned teams including input on hiring, discipline, and offboarding in collaboration with Human Resources.

Requires ongoing coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between departments or functional areas for work production or service quality.

Some travel required based upon business needs

Performs additional duties as requested by management.
What you'll bring:

Associates Degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Four (4) years in a staffing environment and two (2) or more years of supervisory experience; healthcare staffing experience strongly preferred

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor during high stress situations
-
Ability to develop and maintain business relationships
-
A disposition to function in a team environment and to maintain confidentiality

Computer proficiency with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Ability to use tact, discretion, and independent judgment to analyze and resolve work problems

Displays a strong sense of urgency with the ability to self-motivate and remain flexible

Proven leadership skills including mentoring and team building.

Good prioritization and multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Position continually requires demonstrated poise, tact, emotional intelligence, and diplomacy.

Ability to analyze and resolve work problems.
