The JOB:

• Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department and makes adjustments to the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations.
• Conducts consistent walk-throughs of all buildings to visually assess the physical structure(s) of the building.
• Resolves the level of safety, efficient maintenance, and operation of all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems and any other related equipment.
• Assigns routine maintenance tasks on public spaces, meeting rooms, guest rooms, outlets, back of the house spaces, and grounds.
• Hires, trains, supervises, and disciplines all staff under the direction of the Engineering Department.
• Technicians of all repairs, replacement, and renovation projects to offices and employee work areas.
• Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensures proper purchasing
• Maintains relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with the operation’s business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in a timely manner
• Develops and leads the financial spending of the operations as it relates to the established annual budget.
• Performs other related activities as required

Requirements

• Candidates must have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar position.
• EPA Certified
• HVAC Training
• OSHA Training
• Working knowledge of Chillers, Boilers, Ice Machines, Kitchen, Laundry and Housekeeping equipment
• Certified Pool Operators License
• Excel, Word, and Outlook computer knowledge
