About the Role:

Digital Envoy is looking for a full-time DevOps Engineer who is passionate about reliability, resiliency, security and scalability to join our team. We're looking for someone who has experience building and managing systems at scale in the cloud, preferably using AWS. This person will play a huge role in maintaining and improving our CI/CD process and pipeline and is critical to our success as a company.

This person can work remotely from any of the following states: Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT), Florida (FL), Georgia (GA), Louisiana (LA), Maryland (MD), Massachusetts (MA), Michigan (MI) Missouri (MO), New York (NY), New Jersey (NJ), Pennsylvania (PA), Tennessee (TN), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), Washington (WA)

Georgia residents are encouraged and welcomed to join us a couple days/week in our Peachtree Corners, Georgia office.

What You’ll Do:

• Support and maintain broad range of applications deployed in multiple AWS cloud
• Support development tools and CI/CD workflow using tools such as Jenkins
• Support and maintain internal Linux-based systems running Docker containers
• Monitor and maintain monitoring and alerting for internal & external systems
• Monitor and maintain multiple database architectures (Oracle, MySQL, Postgresql)
• Deploy software while ensuring it adheres to appropriate internal & external safety and security standards
• Use DevOps best practices with our application development teams and assist them in engaging these processes
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve system, network, and storage issues on Linux-based systems
• Documentation of new and current processes

Who You Are:

• 2+ years of DevOps experience supporting production AWS cloud infrastructure and software development toolsets and processes.
• Requisite experience using DevOps best practices
• 1-2 years of container environment experience (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with AWS technologies including networking, VPCs, security groups, and others
• Deployment experience with Terraform
• Experience with Linux-based server operating systems
• Experience with SQL database operations (Oracle, MySQL, Postgresql)
• JVM experience
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet is a plus
• Security best practices experience including applying to new/existing processes highly preferred
• Strong communication skills and ability to write clear and concise documentation
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Quick learner and ability for independent learning

Salary range: $120,000 - $140,000
