GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Under the supervision of the Manager of EMR, Clinical Informatics and Reporting; works to ensure our electronic data meets or exceeds the Behavioral Health data reporting requirements for all governing entities, including, but not limited to, Genesee Health System (GHS), Region 10 PIHP, and/or the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS); maintains ITS (Information Technology Systems) departmental documentation as required; coordinates corrections of data with other members of the ITS team, Electronic Medical Record (EMR) vendor and all other staff; provides support for data management and data entry projects such as, but not limited to, consumer surveys and network provider data gathering; performs related work as required.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum of two years of post-high school education AND at least one year of hands-on experience working with Behavioral Health data reporting requirements for governing entities, including, but not limited to, Genesee Health System (GHS), Region 10 PIHP, and/or the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).


PREFERENCES:

Bachelor’s degree of any major;

Strong analytical skills to identify data integrity issues, and facilitate the correction of these issues;
