Overview:The Customer Service Specialist performs a variety of customer service duties in a fast-paced call center environment to both internal and external customers. The candidate will provide excellent customer service to resolve diverse issues within the branch. As a Customer Service Center Specialist you will present solutions based on individual customers needs. As well as Creating, maintaining, and tracking customer files.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding bank products and services, transaction requests and account maintenance related to their account.
- Utilize active listening, express willingness to help, identify customer needs and deliver courteous, professional service in a manner reflecting positively on East West Bank.
- Complete baking transactions and cross-sell bank products, services and any special promotions or campaigns.
- Obtain a comprehensive knowledge of all East West Bank products and services applicable to target customer segments as well as general information required to answer customer questions, support costumer inquiries about our online banking.
- Troubleshoot various problems
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Requires at least 1-2 years call center or retail experience in a banking and/or customer service environment.
- Some college preferred, high school graduate or equivalent required.
- Requires close attention to detail, excellent verbal communication along with interpersonal and client service skills.
- Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns.
- Must have strong PC, proficiency with Windows based applications and excellent math aptitude.
- Be able to work independently and efficiently in a fast paced environment with the ability to sit for prolonged periods of times.
- The candidate must be punctual, maintain a good attendance record and be able to work flexible hours and days.
- Preferred language skills include bilingual in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese)
Compensation: The base pay range for this position is USD $24.00/Hr. - USD $31.00/Hr. Exact offers will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
