The Customer Service Representative performs a range of administrative duties for the Acute Care Services (ACS) and Monadnock Substance Abuse Services (MSAS) Departments. Administrative responsibilities include receptionist duties, customer service, intake processes, and ensuring efficient and quality use of office systems and procedures. Position requires expertise in the insurance field, knowledge of program descriptions and requirements for admission, centralized clinical scheduling and knowledge of internal computer systems.

Requirements:
  • High school education with a minimum of three to five years experience in the health care field preferably in billing with exposure to clinical/client environments (such as working in the emergency room, unit secretary, etc.).
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with the public, customers, staff, community provider and payor sources in a professional manner.
  • Practice strict confidentiality.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Word and Excel. AS 400 experience helpful.
