Core Setter/Assembler Job at Action Group Staffing
Currently looking for individuals to fill Core Setter/Assembler openings with a steel foundry based in Pryor, OK. No previous experience required- will train! Interested candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial environment with an emphasis on safety and attention to detail. This is a full-time temp-to-hire position after 90 days.

Candidates who are interested must be willing to undergo a background check and pass drug screenings prior to and during employment.
Responsibilities of the Core Setter:
- Performs all tasks to finish and close molds made by molding machines to prepare them for pouring
- Lift cores by hand or using a hoist.
- Use compressed air to blow any loose sand from core and sand any rough edges.
- Responsible for setting cores in mold using seals, rods and gaggers.
- Ensure quality molds are made by cleaning vent holes and blowing out molds.
- Inspection of sprue alignment.
- Make final assembly of core on molding line.
- Sweep, shovel and clean work area regularly.
- Requirements of the Core Setter/Assembler
- Previous industrial experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to work on their feet for long hours
- Ability to work while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Must be willing to work weekends and overtime.

Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
