JOB SUMMARY
Cooks are passionate about freshly prepared and nutritious meals for our residents. We work to maintain a calm and supportive environment to free your creative mind. While there is a sense of urgency and timelines that need to be maintained; this is no environment for Gordon Ramsey.
POSITION OVERVIEW
- Understand importance of proper food-handling techniques and hazards of improper food handling
- Comply with meal schedules and make prep list per menu
- Follow standard recipes, but make independent decisions in line with current experience
- Estimate quantities of food required and apportion servings while monitoring portion controlled guidelines for individual residents
- Responsible for supervision of other food service employees in absence of Executive Chef
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Demonstration of our Core Values: Love, Kindness, Honesty, Goodness, Fairness, Respect.
· Passion and ability to prepare and cook a variety of foods in large quantities.
· Commitment to all safety and food preparation protocols.
