Position Summary:

Responsible for the delivery of process innovation and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization. This position will play an important role in helping to foster a culture of sustainable change through the creation and embedding of LEAN methodology, and the supporting framework, to deliver business transformation. Key Responsibilities · To identify and deliver strategic improvement across the business through employing process improvement methodologies and the application of innovative thinking · To work with key business stakeholders, and coach and develop ‘LEAN champions’

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

• Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and improvement projects to drive business results across the organization.
• Mentor, influence and develop potential lean leader projects and events driving business change.
• Drive lean daily management to advance and improve of our Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.
• Develop Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and continuous improvement roadmap and action plans.
• Ensure site level lean activities are aligned to goals, metrics and business strategy.
• Engage teams in setting specific goals around Lean initiatives.
• Provide functional leadership with awareness, knowledge and guidance of Lean principles, methodologies and tools to support achievement of business objectives.
• Plan, coordinate, lead, and teach employee development training sessions demonstrating knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.
• Share best practices across locations and memorialize successes.
• Act as a change agent to accelerate the culture shift necessary to support a CI system

• Develop working relationships across the business to drive growth, engagement and results
• Work with company management to identify key waste initiatives, lead Kaizen events, identify project savings, form teams and communicate goals

• Provide coaching to employees to promote Lean awareness
• Lead cross-functional teams to streamline processes and improve response times, profitability and efficiencies
• Create metrics and standards to help monitor performance and identify opportunities
• Track progress of improvement efforts and develop plans to address shortcomings
• Report productivity and profitability results and improvements
