Continuous Improvement Manager Job at Nease Personnel
A specialized processing facility in Greenville, NC is looking for an experienced professional as a Quality and Continual Improvement Manager position helping foster a culture of sustainable change, with in-depth International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001) quality management. This position also actively supports Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and related ISO systems and programs.
Duties (does not include all functions)
Manage the ISO 9001 program and the administration and compliance of context of the organization, leadership, planning, support, operator, performance evaluations and improvement clauses.
Oversee the creation, review, revision, approval, and maintenance of all QMS documents to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.
Investigate and resolve quality issues by initiating corrective, preventive and supplier corrective actions.
Prepare audit schedules and reports, conduct internal audits and initiate corrective and preventive actions.
Establish, develop, and introduce lean tools and manage the implementation and analyses of Lean and/or Six Sigma initiatives.
Be a “U.S. person” pursuant to section 120.15 of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
A Bachelor's of Science and three plus years of Quality (ISO 9001) management experience, with knowledge implementing ISO 9001 in a manufacturing/industrial environment.
Skills in the use of MS Office and database programs.
Proven continuous improvement analytical experience from a similar role, including project management and business analysis.
Training in Lean and/or Six Sigma principles.
Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or other auditing certification.
