THE OPPORTUNITY

Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring the maintenance of the bank’s compliance management system (CMS) which is designed to ensure that each functional area of the organization achieves and maintains compliance with all state and federal banking laws and regulations.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WE CAN COUNT ON TO...

Own: Manage projects related to compliance. Assist in conducting risk assessments of banking laws and regulations in support of a risk-focused compliance monitoring and testing framework.

Assist with the administration of compliance programs related to Vendor Management and CRA, including the validation of related data and the reporting of such data. Assist auditors and bank examiners in obtaining data requested for audits and examinations. Monitor, analyze and generate reporting on law firm billings to support legal fee management. Create and manage project and matter reports, tracking tools, and calendar. Support processing of subpoenas, investigative demands, garnishments, levies and other legal orders received by the company.

Teach: Assist in assigned areas upon request with compliance monitoring, research, and inquiries and provide interpretations, guidance, and training as required. Learn: Maintain knowledge and awareness of regulatory revisions and requirements through self-development trainings and conferences.

Improve: Continue to look for ways to improve processes and procedures within the compliance department.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WITH THE FOLLOWING KNOWLEGE AND SKILLS...

2-5 years of bank compliance and/or related industry experience, preferred.

Associate Degree in Business or Finance or related field, preferred.
