We at Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies run the business operations of Freudenberg Sealing Technologies (FST) in the Americas. Being part of the global Freudenberg Group, our company is a leading producer of advanced sealing technologies for automotive and general industries. Freudenberg-NOK Sealing Technologies is a joint venture between Freudenberg and NOK Corp. in Japan, is headquartered in Plymouth, MI, operates more than 20 facilities and employs about 4,700 people across the Americas.

Responsibilities

  • Aligns the customer strategy with the business goals, while balancing customer requirements
  • Seeks out new business opportunities and manages tasks related to business closures
  • Leads the sales team lead and keeps focus through priority setting
  • Handles customer negotiations and serves as a next-level escalation contact in cases of issues
  • Manages comprehensive reporting related to sales development
  • Coordinates and monitors the fulfillment of all legal and internal requirements regarding Health, Safety and Environment
  • Leads by example and line with the Freudenberg Guiding Principles and the Code of Conduct, while developing employees, driving Talent Acquisition and Management processes, and fostering a proactive work culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering with strong technical automotive knowledge preferred; or any combination of 2-year Associate/Technical degree and 10 years leadership experience and automotive technical knowledge, transmission knowledge and all parts related to them helpful.1
  • 0 years of sales/account management experience preferred. Aftermarket, Automotive and/or related industries experience preferred.
  • Attributes of high motivation, due diligence, self-initiative, leadership, and strategic approach to sales.
  • Travel 40%+
  • Communication & Collaboration: Communicates clearly and concisely, while serving as a sparring partner to internal/external stakeholders. Fosters teamwork between employees and across the organization.
