The Visser Precision Manufacturing team located in Denver, CO is seeking a seasoned multi-axis CNC Programmer.
Responsibilities Will Include

  • Development of machining strategy to take design data and produce machined hardware
  • Develop machine programs for Mills/Lathes/Multi Axis Mills and Multi Axis Lathes/VTLs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams comprised of machinists/operators, manufacturing engineers, production supervisors, supply chain representatives, quality engineers/inspectors, and operations/program management to support program schedule & performance goals, mitigate manufacturing risks, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Develop manufacturing plans for high-volume production
  • Design custom tools and fixtures as needed
  • Develop set-up sheets to show alignment of geometry from CNC program to physical workpiece.
  • Identify, select, and procure appropriate tooling for job specific applications (based on part material, geometry, features, tolerances, system rigidity, and equipment capability).
  • Releasing programs to the production team that have been validated in Vericut.
  • Own process improvement opportunities (reduced machining/setup time, improved part quality)
  • Maintain configuration control of files and job records
  • Safely working within an industrial environment

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of CAM programming experience
  • 5+ years of CNC machining experience
  • 3+ years of Mastercam experience
  • 2+ years of Vericut experience preferred
  • 2+ years of Solidworks experience preferred
  • Must possess a comprehensive understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
  • Must have experience with alloys commonly used in aerospace applications (aluminum, titanium, inconel, stainless steels)
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary: 85k – $115k DOE
