A leading manufacturer of progressive line and transfer dies, robotic MIG welding equipment and specialty automation machinery has a rare opening for an experienced CMM Operator/Programmer.
The Position:
The operator programs the CMM and gathers, analyzes reports measurement data from custom-written programs for management.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
· Knowing the quality system.
· Programming and operating Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
· Reporting measurement results to appropriate persons.
· Maintaining CMM.
· Identify, suggest and follow thru on ideas for improvement.
· Work with management to achieve short and long term goals .
· Regular attendance is required.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE PREFERRED:
· CMM Software experience - Origin: CheckMate
· Computer Operating experience
· Blueprint reading
· Ability to work in a CAD environment
· Proficient in GD&T
