Woodfords has an opening for a master's-level Clinician within our School Based Services program in Central Maine. The Clinician will be responsible for providing clinical support, supervision and education to the Behavioral Health Professionals (BHPs) involved in our Central Maine School Based Services program. The program serves children with autism spectrum disorders, intellectual and developmental disabilities. The Clinician will provide direct services to both the families and children in involved in the program.


Schedule:

  • This position is full-time (30 to 40 hours weekly).
  • Most hours occur between 8am and 4pm during the week. Occasional work outside of traditional work hours may be required to meet with children and families.
  • Willingness to work occasional early evenings and to travel within Southern and Central Maine required.


Salary:
$48,000.00 to $52,000.00 annual salary commensurate with experience

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with conducting program intakes and complete necessary intake assessments.
  • Complete Comprehensive Psychosocial Assessment for each child on caseload and assist with diagnostic evaluation, formulation and treatment recommendations, as necessary.
  • Coordinate quarterly clinical meetings, reports clinical formulation, and Individual Treatment Plan progress for each child served.
  • Collaborate with team members to assess program and consumer outcomes.
  • Provide effective clinical treatment to children and families consistent with agency clinical curriculum.
  • Conduct individual, group and family meetings.
  • Conduct regular clinical observations of child in programming.
  • Develop Individual Treatment Plan, in coordination with the Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) assigned to the case.
  • Support/supervise program staff or interns as needed.
  • Collaborate with entire school team to include both the Woodfords team members and outside team members.
  • Make referrals and serve as a liaison with other agencies involved in providing other types of services to the child (public schools, rehabilitation agencies, consultants, etc.) to ensure appropriate level of care and where deficient, direct additional resources.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations related to DOE, Maine Care and Kepro regulations including timely completion of all documentation requirements.


Qualifications:

  • Must possess a Master's Degree in Social Work or Professional Counseling and have one of the following: LMSW-CC, LCSW, LCPC or LCPC, CC
  • Must possess at least (3-5) three to five years of experience in the field.
  • Must possess a valid State of Maine driver's license and have use of a vehicle.
  • Must be knowledgeable about state and federal regulatory guidelines, including but not limited to the applicable sections of the Maine Care Benefits Manual and Department of Health and Human Services Licensing Regulations.
  • Must be knowledgeable about best practices and evidence based practices (prior training and experience utilizing the principles and practices of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) in therapy a plus) for children with developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, autism and mental health diagnoses and their families.
  • Must be knowledgeable about assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and crisis planning for children with developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, autism and mental health diagnoses and their families.
  • Must possess clinical experience working with children with developmental delays, intellectual disabilities, autism and mental health diagnoses and their families.
  • Must have flexibility with hours.
