        The faculty member’s primary duties and responsibilities will be working as a Nocturnist supporting the Hospitalist Service. Faculty member will work at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital delivering state of the art and high quality care through a team based approach to care. While following a service of up to 20 patients. Must work at least 37 weeks on this service as assigned. This includes weekend call of an average of one weekend per month and night call as assigned. Duties include providing leadership and fulfilling administrative and teaching responsibilities inherent in achieving program goals, care of the hospitalized patient. Will aslo be expected to complete all clinical and administrative work in a timely fashion.

        COVID-19 Immunization Requirement
       
 
       
        Under Policy 60.1.35, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Prospective employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster within two weeks (14 calendar days) of eligibility. Based on current guidance, individuals are considered fully vaccinated against COVID-19 two weeks after receiving the final dose of any COVID-19 vaccine authorized or approved for use in the United States by the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and recommended by the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Eligibility for a booster against COVID-19 varies and is explained on the University’s web site located at https://coronavirus.rutgers.edu/covid-19-vaccine. Failure to provide proof of primary vaccination and booster will result in rescission of a prospective employee’s offer of employment and/or disciplinary action up to and including termination.

        Minimum Education and Experience
       
 
       
        Maintenence of a full, unconditional and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey. Registration by the State and federal agencies is a condition of employment with the University. One to five years of experieince preferred.
       
 
      
        Certifications/Licenses
       
 
       
        State of NJ Medical License, CDS, DEA, certification of residency, etc.
       
 
      
        Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
       
 
       
        SCM, EPIC, ICD-10 coding, Haiku, Iphone and HIPPA training.

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Additional infection control and safety policies may apply. Prospective employees should speak with their hiring manager to determine which policies apply to the role or position for which they are applying. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption from the University will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
