GENERAL SUMMARY:

The role of the service consultant is to provide a solution-oriented service to HFG clients and fellow team members to ensure the strategic objective is fulfilled and client goals are obtained.

  • Maintaining knowledge and understanding of banking rules, regulations, laws, and all policies and procedures pertaining to them including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) Regulation E and Regulation CC.

  • Exhibiting a professional, business-like appearance and demeanor.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Point of contact in taking care of the needs of our 800+ clients and relationships and providing unprecedented client service.
  • Become an expert on our client relationship management (Salesforce) and custodial (Pershing and TD Ameritrade) systems.
  • Responsible for concierge onboarding of new clients, which means walking them through the account setup process, getting the necessary paperwork completed, ushering them through our technology platform, and directing onboarding meetings.
  • Serve as primary contact with our custodian and work as a liaison for the client in managing key account administration and maintenance needs such as account transfers, wires, rollovers, distributions, etc.
  • Mastering preparing and processing custodial paperwork and keeping records of client interactions, transactions, comments, etc.
  • Working under limited supervision with latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
  • Communicating and coordinating internally with advisors, planners, and operations.
  • Update and maintain client records to ensure data integrity in our Client Management System.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2+ years of demonstrated client care experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office products.
