The Company
ER Productions is a growing, international, award-winning laser show & laser system design and special effects specialist, with credits spanning high profile sporting and corporate events, advertising, TV & Film, theatre and worldwide concert tours.
Constantly pushing the envelope when it comes to the ongoing development, manufacture and sourcing of cutting-edge laser & Special Effects products, they supply world class laser and light shows with regular appearances on AGT, X Factor, Dancing With The Stars and have toured with Metallica, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Ozzy Osbourne, Back Street Boys and Muse to name a few.

The Mission
Reporting to the UK based Managing Director the role will take ownership of operational effectiveness, scalability and financial performance of ER Laser Productions Inc in line with the company strategy and growth goals.

Key Responsibilities
Finance & Compliance

• Ensure financial and corporate compliance in terms of business operations in the state of Nevada and any other state that ERLPI may operate
• Day to day financial operations are carried out effectively and are compliant in the state of operation and reported weekly
• H&S safety compliance is known and adhered to.

Team and Management

• Ensure the team is effectively resourced, structured and trained to deliver a consistent client experience.
• Take ownership of recruitment, on-boarding, performance and ensure and risks, issues or concerns are identified and remedied
• Establish a compelling Employee Value Proposition to ensure we retain and attract the right talent to support our growth
• Integrate and champion our core values across the business.

Operational effectiveness and scalability

• Ensure we have the operational and process foundations in place for excellent delivery and seamless scalability.
• Ensure the operational infrastructure is in place in terms of set up, space and safe storage
• Ensure the equipment workflow processes are documented, effective and been followed consistently throughout the business
• Identify, set up and manage new locations inline with our growth goals

Business Development & Growth Projects

• Support and implement the USA growth strategy
• Coordinate with the Commercial Director to ensure that we are aware of and participate in upcoming regional opportunities and tenders.
• Grow the business locally, ensure the ER are known to local event promoters and organisers and residencies
• Advise on local exhibitions and promotional activity
• Actively participate and support the creation and delivery of the company’s Annual and Quarterly plans

Key Experience

• Min 5 years in a senior position in US entity (President, CEO, COO)
• Min 3 years at a senior level at in a rapidly scaling company of $5m + revenue
• Min 3 years of team performance management of 20 + employees
• At least 3 years gained in the live events sector, entertainment, sports etc
• Beneficial to have XERO accounts package experience

Key Skills

• Highly organised and able to deal with multiple projects at once
• Computer literate and able to work with excel / google sheets using pivot tables
• A good understanding of US federal and local tax rules business licence requirements and accounting procedures
• Reasonable technical knowledge and basic understanding or willingness to learn about live event technology
• Good writing skills and ability to communicate
• Good understanding of Nevada employment law including OSHA and safety requirements

You will have a successful track record in developing a business within a similar demand led sector, be agile and flexible as to available hours, operate with urgency and able to cope under pressure.
You will be persuasive and engaging with a commitment to getting the job done no matter what, your track record will demonstrate an ability to take the initiative and problem solve and lead where others have failed to do so.
