Certified Veterinary Technician-Hiring Bonus offered Job at Camden Pet Hospital
Camden Pet Hospital seeks a FT or PT certified veterinary technician to join our growing team. We are a full service, AAHA accredited small animal practice seeing dogs, cats, small mammals, and chickens in the heart of Minneapolis. We provide high quality compassionate care and proudly serve many of our patients throughout their entire lives. Our practice utilizes paperless records, digital x-rays, digital dental x-rays, ultrasound, and IDEXX in house laboratory equipment. We have a diverse range of clientele and patients, which makes every day interesting and different from the last. We have a strong connection to the community as a well-respected practice since the 1970s.
Our ideal candidate is a team player and comfortable in all aspects of clinic care, including lab work, exam room assistance, surgery, dentals, and reception. We encourage technicians to utilize their experience and education and promote continued education.
We offer a competitive wage based upon experience, up to a $500 hiring bonus based on FT/PT status and if certified, PTO, retirement plan with match, health insurance, personal pet care discount, and CE allowance.
Required skills/qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited veterinary program, certification is not required or experience as a veterinary assistant.
- Team focused
- Upbeat and adaptable with a positive attitude
- Excellent client communication skills
- Integrity with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Self-motivated and detail oriented
- Able to lift up-to 50 pounds
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $24.00 per hour
