Purpose of this position:

The purpose of this position is to provide direct health care to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse, in accordance with facility policies and procedures and report resident needs and concerns to a licensed nurse.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct health care to residents following facility policies and procedures.
• Report residents needs and concerns to a Licensed Nurse.
• Assist the nurses and other staff as needed.
• Adhere to professional standards, follow policies and procedures and abide by federal, state and local requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification valid in the State of Texas and be in good standing.
• Previous health care experience with certified nursing duties, preferred.
• Physical & sensory abilities commensurate with this position to include but not limited to frequent lifting, pushing, pulling and reaching.
• Must be fully COIVD19 vaccinated.
