- Process customer transactions using the cash register
- Check the prices are processed correctly
- Collect money from customers and return the correct change
- Redeem vouchers and coupons
- Provide a great customer experience by always remaining calm, friendly, and professional
- Respond to customer questions and direct them to the right person or department where appropriate
- Maintain a clean working environment, in particular the checkout area
