Cashier Job at UniSea Inc
BASIC FUNCTION
Responsible for taking in-person and phone order at the Harbor View Grill, processing payment, keeping the dining room clean and assisting in the kitchen as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1) Take food orders from customers in efficient and courteous manner.
2) Collect payment for all food orders from guests using electronic point of sale system and cash register.
3) Ensure accuracy of all required paperwork and deposits.
4) Clear and set tables according to instruction from supervisor.
5) Maintain cleanliness of dining room during operation hours.
6) Complete all assigned side work, inventory, and stocking of supplies.
7) Assists cooks in all aspects of hospitality responsibilities including dish washing, cleaning floors, tables, and general cleanup of dining area.
8) Ability to follow instructions and work with minimum supervision.
SECONDARY DUTIES
1) Assist in food service, when necessary, with attention to detail and customer service.
2) Other duties as assigned.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
· High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Experience with cash handling and POS system preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.85 per hour
