As a cashier, you are the last person to have contact with the customer. This role is key to ensuring the customer has had an exceptional shopping experience.

Summary of the position:

• Provide superior customer service
• Accept customer applications for the company Perx Card
• Process all forms of payment
• Follows proper bagging techniques
• Adheres to all state and county regulations regarding age-restricted products
• Process EBT, WIC, coupons and in store discounts appropriately
• Maintain a knowledge of weekly sale items
• Good knowledge of product locations to accurately respond to customer questions

What we look for in you:

• Part time morning availability with at least one weekend day
• At least 1 year of friendly and welcoming customer service
• Grocery and/or retail experience preferred
• Exceptional communication skills
• Highly motivated individual
• Team player with the ability to work independently at times
• Ability to multitask
• Focused, efficient with attention to detail
• The ability to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time
