Caregivers - Young, FUN client needs you! Fri, Sat, Sun 4P-Midnight! $16-17 Job at Assisting Hands - Fort Myers
Our Client in Estero is looking for a caregiver to him evenings from 4PM to Midnight, Wednesdays, Sundays and every other Saturday!
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Personal one on one care, our client requires total care (feeding, transferring, bathing), but he has state of the art equipment, including a state of the art bathtub that raises and lowers to your height, electric hoyer lift and state of the art van with wheelchair lift.
- Providing companionship - our client has CP, but he is fully alert and oriented, and highly intelligent. He loves music, and even produces some of his own rap music! He enjoys watching sports on TV, as well as getting out to eat or participating in community events such as gameshow night, etc.
- Homemaking assistance - light meal prep, laundry, keeping his room and bathroom clean.
- Our client does have a small, friendly hypoallergenic dog in the house, but you are not responsible for taking care of the dog.
Qualifications:
- CNA, HHA, or experience as a caregiver
- Level 2 background screen, or ability to pass background check
- CPR Certification
- ADRD (Alzheimers Dementia and Related Disease) certificate
- HIV AIDS Certificate
- Assistance with Self Administration of Medication Certificate
- A Valid Driver's license
- Reliable transportation
