What You’ll Be Doing

Our Career Coaches cultivate an individual’s capabilities to unlock their full potential with a passionate and creative style. In this role, you will be both a strategic thought-partner and accountability-partner to help individuals design, reimagine, or explore their career options, or leadership style and impact, at various stages in their careers, helping them create both the vision and the action plan to achieve their goals. You will help people know themselves intimately by creating awareness through self-reflection and self-assessment, using proprietary tools that are customized to fit the needs of the engagement. Our approach is guided by the Career Coach and driven by the individual. You will help participants align their coaching objectives based on the type of engagement you are supporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Career Coach, you communicate and engage with Candidates (Nurses and other healthcare professionals) through phone calls, online chat, video calls, social media platforms, email, and other similar channels. You help Candidates become more aware of their career management and key developmental skills and help them identify and create meaningful goals to support their career and work-life balance goals. You analyze and debrief assessments and use powerful questions to help bring awareness to potential blind spots or help Candidate’s best leverage their strengths for professional development. Coaches leverage online learning to support the development of new skills and mindsets. You will also have an opportunity to lead career related projects and put your project management skills to use.

  • Coaching Expertise: You support and challenge Candidates in creating new insights and identifying ways to apply new learnings to elicit positive transformation and change that supports accelerated career effectiveness and overall life balance. Engagements include career transition, career management, professional and leadership development, and scalable assessment feedback.
  • Client Service Excellence: You are adept at building rapport and establishing positive relationships with your Coaching Candidates, Clients, and peers.
  • Thought Leadership: You contribute thought leadership to design and implement or enhance existing coaching engagements you support to ensure we are delivering a world-class Career Coaching experience.

JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in coaching/training in large, dynamic, and complex environments with a deep expertise in employee development and a focus on coaching for results
  • Experience using psychometric assessments to inform coaching goals (e.g., coaching certifications, experience with assessments of personality traits, potential and leadership motivation desired).
  • An empathetic, naturally curious, digitally minded, and client-focused individual with unwavering ethics and integrity.
  • An exceptional motivational communicator both one-on-one with Candidates and within a dynamic team environment.
  • An inclusive collaborator with strong influence skills and a demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly and develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients and across an organization.
  • A well-developed results-oriented philosophy and work ethic; the ability to “get things done”.
  • A strategic thinker with the ability to recommend improvements on new products to management based on interactions with clients.
  • Flexible, responsive, and expert communicator with the ability to work in a geographically dispersed environment.
  • Able to effectively thrive, quickly adapt to change, and navigate within a matrixed, rapidly growing, start-up/corporate environment.
  • Experience working with proprietary customer-relations management systems (or something similar); Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Adept in using social media platforms (especially Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn) as a contributor and thought leader on career-related discussions.
  • Able to flex your schedule to support the needs of our Candidates and Clients (largely dependent on location of clients).

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree plus a minimum of 2 years coaching experience with established coaching credentials preferred
  • 10+ years total work experience in roles within various healthcare settings
  • Clinical Education/Experience Preferred: RN, MD, DO, PhD, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, and/or other various clinical credentials will be considered

ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

  • Computer literate.
  • Manual dexterity to use/handle equipment and instruments.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to concurrently perform multiple tasks.
