Kirtland Rehab and Care is now hiring a Business Office/Collections Manager to work in our Kirtland , Oh location.


SUMMARY: Provides general office, accounting and payroll support, including communication with families, representatives, and members of the community.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. required. Other duties as assigned. MUST BE COMFORTABLE COLLECTING PAST DUE BALANCES IN A PROFESSIONAL AND COMPASSIONATE MANNER, WHILE ACHIEVING RESULTS.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES:
As directed, supervises employees and carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the facility policies, practices, procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and
disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Consistently uses discretion and independent judgment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A high school degree or equivalent is required. Some previous bookkeeping experience is highly desirable. Must be capable of making mathematical calculations and be thoroughly knowledgeable of the requirements of Medicare/Medicaid as they pertain to eligibility. Meets state and federal requirements.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Driver’s license per facility requirements.
