Our business is rapidly expanding, and we are in need of an additional motivated, independent and organized individual to take on the responsibilities of seeking and acquiring new Patrol and On-Site Service contracts in the overall Denver area. We are an innovative and proactive provider of Security Officer and Patrol Services throughout the Colorado area built out of tradition and uniformity while at the same time seeking out new and advanced methods and specializations. You will be working heavily with the multi-family residential industry (apartment communities, HOA, etc), retail areas, corporations of all sizes and other clients that tend to heavily utilize the random nature of patrol or on-site security services. Strong preference will be to persons interested in this position who already have a good understanding of our type of services and the difference between patrol vs on-site security.
So let's discuss the basics... this is a takeover position to our sales team and working with other members of the Business Development Team. As such, a lot of time, effort and self-motivation will be expected from you. We have a strong customer base, an amazing group of individuals working together with a passion for what we do, and a team family feel. You will work out of our Branch Office in Colorado Springs, where you have access to all of the needed tools to make your position successful.

Objectives of this Role
- Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
- Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
- Develop strategies and positions by analyzing new venture integration
- Assist in the coordination and implementation of marketing strategies, and delegate tasks that achieve strategic goals
- Motivate the team, track performance, and report metrics
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy
- Manage proposal response process, including detailed RFP requirements, content creation, and inputs from various sources
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals inline with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics
- Develop and implement overarching outbound sales and business development strategy, sales processes, structure, and best practices across the company
- Support deal structure and pricing with business value analysis; negotiate prices for proactive bids and proposals
- Maintain and share professional knowledge through education, networking, events, and presentations
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or management, or equivalent alternate experience
- Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working experience with sales techniques
- Proficiency with data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting
- Proven ability to plan and manage resources
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CRM software (we utilize HubSpot)
- Ability to deliver presentations
What we will provide:
We will work together so that you completely understand what we do, what sets us apart, and why we exceed our competition. Then, we will provide you with all the necessary tools to succeed - whether that is with the office, computer and phone or the company vehicle, sales material and assistance. The position is a salaried + commission position ($55,000-$65,000.00 base salary per year to begin, with a progressive pay increase scale, based on your performance in addition to an amazing commission plan). If you are seeking a starting pay higher than this, we unfortunately cannot accommodate that at this time, so please reply only if this scale is acceptable, however, note that all of our Business Development personnel are currently earning $75,000-$95,000 annually with the salary plus commission! We also offer benefits to include health, vacation and other perks along with your salary.
