Description

As a Business Development Manager – Life Sciences, you will help JR develop winning sales strategies in our growing Life Sciences division! At JR Automation we drive change by learning and innovating faster than anyone else. You will be challenged to use your intelligence and curiosity to think outside the box, partnering with our internal functional groups to create custom, innovative and integrated solutions for our customers.

What You'll Do:

Our Sales teams are made of talented business-oriented buyers who enjoy thinking outside the box to solve practical problems with no standard solution. The projects we work on offer diverse experiences that strengthen and challenge individual and team skills, resulting in innovative solutions. We value creativity, assertiveness, quick thinking, and a general love for learning.

• 80% of your day is spent traveling to accommodate customer needs.
• 20% of your day is split between finding creative approaches for identified customer needs, growing current customer relationships, and fostering new customer relationships.

What You'll Bring:

• 5+ years relevant industry experience selling custom high-end automation equipment and solutions
• Previous sales or engineering experience in the Life Sciences space highly preferred
• History of maintaining and submitting appropriate records for forecasting quote status and expenses
• Proven ability to continually contact prospective customers based on leads from business directories or other sources

• Knowledge of FDA certifications and guidelines
• Knowledge of GAMP 5 system
• Experience managing large business accounts
• Background in small parts assembly for high speed automation
