The Building and Grounds Specialist’s primary responsibility is to maintain a clean and safe learning environment; by guidelines established by all collaborative entities and proven working experience required, ability to work with children and adults.
Daily responsibility: Maintain a clean working environment in commonly used areas such as the restrooms and hallways, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, ceiling vents, etc. Advise management of low paper products and cleaning supply inventory. Adhering to management instructions for specific areas needing attention, such as indoor lighting and maintaining the outdoor grounds and foyers. Identifying and reporting any equipment failure to designated personnel. Performs all other duties upon the request of your Supervisor. Knowledge of using gardening equipment such as lawnmowers. Weed trimmers, shovels, etc.
