This position primarily consists of filling customer orders in a timely manner.

Essential Job Functions

• Loading and unloading of parts from wire basket into or onto cardboard/ wooden pallets.
• Assembling cardboard boxes.
• Following instructions on protective and proper shipping techniques
• Ensuring first article inspection and periodic content inspections.
• Completing proper paperwork documentation recording for packing on box count sheet.
• Moving products with PIV and/or pallet jack.
• Follow TSCO standards, policies and objectives.
• Ability to apply TS16949 guidelines and best practices.
• Maintaining general housekeeping.

Qualifications

• At least one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
• Must have a general working knowledge and average skill in loading and unloading parts.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to do basic math, including decimals and percentages.
• Ability to drive a forklift and work a pallet jack.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must have basic computer skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Continuous mental and visual attention is required.
• Requires constant alertness and attention to detail of correct product shipped and the count quantity.
• Work involves likelihood of irregularity of work schedule to meet customer demand.
• Performing these duties will involve lifting, pulling, or pushing physical objects; standing, stooping and bending, walking and standing for long periods of time.
• Working in hot, cold, noisy work areas and being exposed to odors, fumes, and dust.
• Must be able to constantly sustain exertion and lifting of parts ranging from 0 75 lbs.
• Personal Protective Equipment includes safety glasses and steel-toed boots.
